A free subscription can still include optional purchases. Use clear account, privacy, consent, copyright, and spending boundaries before opening or following creator profiles.
Verify the destination
Check HTTPS, the domain, creator name, and current price before signing in. Avoid shortened links, copied login screens, off-platform payment requests, and messages asking for one-time codes.
Protect the account
Use a unique password, enable available account protection, keep recovery details current, and do not share login credentials. On a shared device, review saved passwords, notification previews, downloads, and browsing history.
Control optional spending
- Set a monthly entertainment limit before browsing.
- Read the exact price and description of every locked item.
- Use a waiting period for unplanned purchases.
- Keep receipts and review total purchases, not only subscriptions.
- Leave unclear offers unopened rather than paying to understand them.
Respect consent and copyright
Do not copy, repost, sell, or distribute creator content without permission. Do not use profile information to harass, identify, threaten, or contact someone outside the channels they choose to provide.
Respond to suspicious activity
Stop the interaction, preserve relevant receipts or screenshots, change affected passwords, and use the official platform's report and support tools. Contact the payment provider only through a verified channel shown on its own site or statement.
